Where do we go when our thoughts run rampant with negativity? Is there a reset button for our toxic way of thinking? Pointing us back to the center of all truth is truth Himself. The Word of God. Let’s look at what scripture speaks to us in regards to living abundantly – Mind, Body, and Spirit. When the flesh rises up to take us down these toxic paths of unbelief – we can be ready to stand and fight with the sword we’ve been given – God’s Word.

Be ready to meditate and believe what His Word says as truth. Fill up your mind with these things and stand boldly against the lies that so easily try to beset us on this journey. We are awesomely created in His image and we really are Mind, Body & Spirit.

Mind

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:1-2

Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart.

Psalm 26:2

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You Because he trusts in You.

Isaiah 26:3

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.

Mark 12:30

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus

Philippians 2:5

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 4:23-24

So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then.  But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”

1 Peter 1:14-16

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Matthew 26:41

The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

John 14:17

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Romans 8:5-6

He delights in our full wellness. Why? It brings glory to Him when our full-being is used for His service, His kingdom work, and His redemption plan. He has made us new in Him. No longer slaves to sin, toxic thoughts and futile thinking of this world. But, our flesh is weak and so we must be planted deep, rooted daily so that we are ready to combat the weapons that would try to prosper against us. We know that in Christ we are victorious!
